Claybrooke, Leicestershire

Completed in 2016 this impressive new build dwelling over four floors was self-built by the owner of a local building company.

The dressings supplied were of a wet cast reconstructed stonework specification throughout.

Featuring ashlar blockwork around the entirety of the ground floor and garages along with pedimented window surrounds, quoined corners, eaves string course and a balustrade screen all of the elements supplied were produced bespoke for this project. The ashlar blockwork had all been set out to working drawings produced by Exescodo Design Ltd in both the horizontal and vertical planes to ensure that the stone bands would all properly course in with the structural door and window openings and to negate any slithers of cut blocks from needing to be made in order to achieve bond.
